Family Music for Babies & Toddlers (under 3 years old)
Come play with us as we develop your child's innate musical ability, listening skills, social skills and sense of beat in a loving and nurturing environment. Enjoy this bonding time with your child as we dance, wiggle, and shake our way through class! Classes held outside when possible (Spring Session) or in the Chapel of our Greentree location.​
Saturdays 9:00am to 9:30am
September 21st through November 23rd (10 weeks)

Musical Adventures for Preschoolers (3-5 years old)
Let your child's imagination bloom! We will explore the sights and sounds of nature through story telling, movement, and song. The children will continue to be build upon basic musical concepts: steady beat, rhythm and tonal patterns, and will be introduced to world music and the instruments of the orchestra! Classes held outside when possible (Spring Session) or in the Chapel of our Greentree location.​
Saturdays 9:45am (class is 40 - 45 minutes)
September 21st through November 23rd (10 weeks)

Meet the Instruments (4 to 8 years old)
In this class children (ages 4 to 8) will be introduced to the various instruments taught here at The Pittsburgh Music Academy - violin, viola, cello, piano, flute, and a variety of brass instruments with the help of hands-on exploration and guest musicians. Students will also grow their knowledge of rhythm and tonal patterns using various percussion instruments including Boomwhackers and drums. Parents are an essential part of the Suzuki method and are asked to be present in class and help their child as needed.
